Upsilon Chapter
The Upsilon Chapter was chartered in December 1936 in Tuskegee, Alabama, by Cleo Nelms, Southern Regional Director and member of the Nu Chapter.

Early History – The chapter established a traveling library of works about and by Negroes, maintained the Recreation Room in the infantile Paralysis Center at John A. Andrew Hospital. (The 1944 Conclave passed a resolution to collect dimes from each member to create a fund to be administered by the Upsilon Chapter for the Paralysis Unit.)
Soror Rowena Bracken served as Member-At-Large for the Southern Region. Soror Dorothy McDonald currently serves as the Parlimentarian for the Southeast Region.
